This is my summary and prediction of the past, current state and the future of labor, i.e., the state of jobs and careers in this world.  Just for contemplation:

Labor 0.0—-> Life (The human community)
Labor 1.0—-> The state (the apex of industrial revolution)
Labor 2.0—-> The global enslavement (the stateless empire of global corporations)
